Our PolRom principal investigator Anna Kende presented how European and National glorification along with attachment predicted attitudes towards immigrants (in illiberal European democracy) in Hungary. To learn more, you can read the paper here. Nóra Anna Lantos, another team mate from Hungary, gave inspiring presentation about the effect of perceived privilege versus disadvantage framing on collective action intentions. Another great presentation was made by Laura Faragó, who talked about belief in political fake news and partisanship and Jószef Pantya presented a poster about the affective demotivating power of an unjust tax system in the section of Social Inequality, Social Change, and Civic Development.

Our team members from Slovakia, Barbara Lášticová, Lucia Hargašová and Xenia Daniela Poslon presented a poster on the possibilities of assessing interventions to reduce prejudice against Roma minority that happened in the past in Slovakia and what we can learn from it.

Last but not least, our teammate from Ireland Ashley O’Connor presented a blitz talk on predictors of outgroup attitudes in Ireland.
