Best practice Interventions Policy reports Political discourse Survey
The objective of this workpackage is to create a database of existing anti-discrimination interventions in the five countries of this project (Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Ireland, France). Classification and subsequent analysis of these interventions will allow for a systematic overview linking social psychological theory with grass-roots practice. We will also organize focus groups with key stakeholders that will provide the opportunity to reflect on the results of the intervention analysis. By identifying the core principles of each intervention program, the organization delivering it (state and non-governmental organizations), and the intended outcome (change the narrative around Roma discrimination and inclusion, affect existing stereotypes and antigypsyism, influence behavioural intentions to act in solidarity with the Roma), we will explore their scope and limits. This will help us to identify examples of best-practice and develop a theory- and evidence-based toolkit for designing and improving anti-discrimination interventions.
